ADVANCED ARTHROPLASTY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM AT SARVODAYA HEALTHCARE

The fellowship program for Advanced Arthroplasty Surgery at Sarvodaya Healthcare is initiated with the endeavor to impart training and excellence to aspiring orthopedic surgeons of existing and future generations.

Sarvodaya Healthcare is a high volume centre performing more than 1000 joint surgeries in a year including Knee, Hip, Elbow, Shoulder and Revision Surgeries and is renowned for performing successful Fast-Track Knee Replacement Surgeries. It is well-equipped with advanced instruments and amenities like “Computer Navigation System” through which most of the Knee Replacement surgeries are being performed.

Program Descriptions: Entire program is meticulously planned and emphasis given for the development of skills in diagnosis and treatment of Pathologies of Joints and Bio-Mechanics of Implants.

Eligibility:

1. Completed M.S./ DNB (Ortho) with 2-3 years Post P.G Experience.

2. Age - not more than 35 years. Opportunity to acquire skill while working under supervision of leading Joint Replacement Surgeon and learn – Stapless/Stichless Total Knee Arthroplasty, TKA without Tourniquet, Single Stage Revision TKA (Infected), Bilateral Total Hip Replacement in one sitting, Partial Knee Replacement and CR – TKA.

Upon completion of stipulated time period fellow would be provided with Fellowship Certificate

• Dr. Sujoy has been doing Complex, Primary & Revision Joint Replacements for more than 20 years and treated around 12000 patients including international patients from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Nigeria, Oman, U.S. and other African countries.

• He has been extensively trained in techniques of Joint Replacement Surgery from the best centers in the world. He had an opportunity to work in Princess Elizabeth Hospitals, Exeter U.K., Markoningen Clinic, Stuttgart, Germany, California Orthopedic Centre, San Diego U.S.A.

• He is well known National Faculty in various Joint Replacement Conferences. He has been a regular faculty in prestigious Cadaver Workshops & Arthroplastry Conferences in AIIMS, ISHKS, ROC & different states
